My Favorite Tea

This last few weeks, weather in Depok (small city where I get used to staying) is soooo unpredictable huf. It's bright in the morning, extremely hot in afternoon (feels like  there are three suns, believe me), then raining hard, hot again, raining again at night, always like that.. I think this phenomenon happens in most of cities in Indonesia due to climate change, maybe.
But today the weather is really nice and quite friendly in the morning, though it has changed when I came back from my campus in afternoon. It was hot, but not that extremely hot hihi. I was sweating when I just arrived in my boarding house so I made a glass of sweet iced tea. After drinking that, I feel so refreshed! thanks iced tea! <3
Anyway, talking about tea, is there some of you who doesn't like drinking tea? I think there's no one, right? cause everybody loves tea, just like me!!! Drinking tea is good for your health, guys. I love drinking tea since I was child and until now I still love it.
I drink any kind of tea: jasmine tea, black tea, lemon tea, mint tea, green tea, hot tea, ahhh whatever the kind is, as long as it's tea, I'll drink it hahaha. Now, I'd like to give one recipes of my favorites tea that you can make easily in this "summer" days!
Here you go :)

Sweet Tea With Mint

You have to prepare...

•    1 liter of water
•    4 or 5 bags of mint tea (or black or whatever you like)
•    1 + 1/2 cups sugar 1 bunch fresh mint (little is better)
•    1/4 lemon into slices

and then...
Boil 1/4 of a liter of water in a large pot. Once boiling, remove it from heat, add the tea bag and let sit for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add sugar and stir to dissolve. Also add the mint leaves and slices of lemon, letting it stand for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags, mint and lemon from the pot. Add the remaining water (3/4) and to combine, serve with ice and a twist of lemon juice. Then, garnish with a slice of lemon and a fresh mint leaves.

100% refreshing! Try it :)

Cheers,
Ketie
